If you enjoy GCSE Maths (particularly algebra) then this is the course for you. If you are considering studying A Level Physics then you will be required to take A Level Mathematics but it also supports Humanities subjects.

Requires a GCSE in maths at grade 6, plus the standard entry requirements of an A Level or mixed programme.
Course information
You will study a combination of pure maths, mechanics and statistics over two years. In the first yeat you will study either mechanics or statistics alongside pure mathematics, which extends what you have learned at school, as well as introducing you to important new ideas and methods. In the second year you will study some topics from statistics or mechanics whilst also continuing your study of pure maths.

Three two hour exam papers at the end of your second year.
Level 3 EDEXCEL GCE A Level in Mathematics
During your two years of study you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, visit careers’ fairs and attend workshops, trips and visits.
