Pre-enrolment

Your enrolment session will allow you to finalise your place with us and receive any additional advice on your chosen courses.

If you find you have achieved different exam results to those you were expecting, please still attend your enrolment session. You will have the opportunity to discuss your options with our advisers and we will find a suitable course for you.

To prepare for your enrolment please make sure to complete as much information online as possible before you arrive for your enrolment sessions. If you are unable to complete a form before your enrolment appointment please do not worry, our team is on hand to help you complete on the day.

Late Applicants

If you wish to make a late application to Strode’s or Windsor please complete an online application but please be advised that many of our courses will be full and that we may not be able to offer you your first choice of subject as a late applicant. Our Admissions’ Department will contact you following your application to arrange an interview.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept walk-ins and advise that you contact our Admissions Department for further information.

Bursary information

The college may be able to offer financial support to students with household incomes below £30,000 (pre-tax), and those who are in local authority care or care leavers.

Financial Support can assist with travel costs, travel passes and childcare costs. In some cases, it can also provide free college meals.

Summer Homework

In the build up to enrolment we have invited you to join a Google Site* where you can find out more about the College and the courses you have applied to join in September. The site features information and the summer assignment we would like you to complete in preparation for starting with us.

Your IT Account

You should have already received instructions on how to access your official IT Account. Using this account you can access resources from your new teachers via Google Sites*, as well as access our ‘Pay My Student’ system to process any trips & visits, or uniform payments relevant to your course of study.

Discover life at our campus

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group supports students to be successful and we work hard to listen to student views about their experiences. We always encourage feedback. One of the ways we do that is through our Student Parliaments, Liaison Committees and Student Union. Most College tutor or curriculum groups have an elected group representative.

These reps make up the Student Parliament and are responsible for representing the views of their class on a range of topics including teaching and learning, campus services and college life. The Course Reps also attend regular meetings to discuss their feedback and ideas with the College’s senior management team.
