TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) is a Sport England funded partnership between talented athletes, education institutions and national governing bodies of sport.
As a proud TASS accredited college, we give talented athletes the opportunity to combine academic excellence with elite performance support. This means athletes can achieve their potential in education while continuing to compete and develop within their sport.
Well done to our talented TASS athlete Abi Read who won gold at the British Gymnastics Championships, and our wonderful TASS athlete Farah Walters who won gold in Judo at the regional British schools championships.
The TASS Programme provides our high performing athletes with 1-1 mentor meetings with the Dual Career Co-ordinator and sports staff. Students receive guidance and their progress is closely monitored. Students also attend sports related workshops with professionals and other elite performers. These workshops provide advice and encouragement to support their progress.
