BTECs are widely recognised by industry and higher education as the vocational alternative to A Levels. We offer two options – the Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A Level) or the Diploma (equivalent to two A Levels).
The content reflects the demands of employers and universities and has a mixture of internal and external assessment. Assessment is through coursework, controlled assessments and a written exam. There is also a requirement for students to participate in practical activities such as helping to organise an event and taking part in mock interviews for recruitment.
This course is taught at the Strodes College campus in Egham, Surrey, where you will learn from experienced teaching staff in a supportive learning environment.
