This course is for anyone who wants to learn to draw and paint or to just improve their very basic drawing and painting techniques. The course is varied and aims to improve students’ observational skills, eye-to-hand co-ordination and dexterity.
This course is taught at the Strodes College campus in Egham, Surrey, where you will learn from experienced teaching staff in a supportive learning environment.

No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to learn. This class is suitable for beginners and improvers of mixed abilities.
Over the weeks we will investigate the use of a variety of drawing and painting medium. You will learn perspective, colour theory, the rule of thirds, painting techniques, still life, portraits and landscapes as well as opportunities to use your own imagination.
