Students from Strode’s and Windsor Colleges embarked on an enriching journey to Royal Holloway, University of London, as part of their Progression Day. The bespoke afternoon programme provided a glimpse into university life, allowing students to ‘be an undergraduate’ through engaging taster lectures.
Guided by RHUL ambassadors, students explored the picturesque campus, ranging from the historic Founders’ building to modern lecture theatres, the new library, and scenic woodland areas. The campus tour offered a firsthand experience of the diverse facilities available.
A lively Question & Answer session with RHUL students offered valuable insights into university life, sharing personal experiences and tips on preparing for higher education. A dedicated talk on choosing a degree course and university equipped students with practical advice for planning their academic journey.
The visit was enhanced by glorious sunny weather, creating a positive atmosphere for students to absorb information and envision their future academic paths. We extend our gratitude to Royal Holloway, University of London, for a fantastic and insightful visit.
