Course information
The course will cover Using numbers and the number system. Measures, shapes and space and Handling information and data. You will be required to complete the three units of work and a
mock assessment before taking your Functional Skills Maths exam.
Exams can also be coordinated to suit your availability, we have a paper-based exam,
an online exam ( both of these are taken on site) and a remote exam facility if you cannot travel to one of our colleges.
The course is a 30 week course, but students can progress more quickly if desired
This course is a self-study online programme and is delivered through a virtual learning platform. Learners can progress at their own speed, and tutor support is available. You will need access to a digital device as well as the internet to participate fully in the programme.
You will be assessed via an externally assessed exam. There will also be practice assignments to complete, which will be tutor-marked.
You will achieve a Functional Skills Maths L1 qualification or a Functional Skills Maths L2 qualification,
