On Thursday we’ll be welcoming over 800 prospective new students and their families at our October Open Evening.
Please remember to bring your scannable ticket with you either as a printed copy or on an electronic device so we can scan you in on arrival.
There are three Principal’s talks on the night at 4.45pm, 5.30pm and 6.15pm. We encourage you to time your arrival around these talk times, so the number of visitors is more evenly spread.
Due to the volume of visitors for the Open Evening, there will be limited on-site parking. The car park is accessed via Strode’s College Lane. Where possible, we recommend using one of the nearby public car parks. There are two by the Library, one at Tesco, and one at Waitrose. These are all pay and display and are close by to the College.
On the night, you will be able to tour the campus, and meet our teachers in each subject’s dedicated learning spaces. Speak to them to find out more about your course options, and to answer questions you may have.
You will also be able to learn about student life and extra-curricular activities from our brilliant student ambassadors, or speak to one of our student support team to find out more information about additional learning support and the A*spire stretch and challenge programme.
We are a proud TASS accredited college, which allows us to give talented athletes the opportunity to combine academic excellence with elite performance support. TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) is a Sport England funded partnership between talented athletes, education institutions and national governing bodies of sport. Come and visit our Sports department on the day to find out more!
The Admissions team will be there on the night for you to apply to Strode’s College.
If you are unable to attend, our next Open Day is Thursday 12 February. Booking is already open, so sign up today.
We look forward to welcoming you to campus and hope you enjoy your evening with us!
