Dr Martin Ham PhD, FTCL, FCII
Dr Ham has spent a distinguished international career in banking, insurance and risk management, becoming Chief Executive of HSBC Insurance (International) Holdings Ltd. He is also a musician and musicologist, having spent 20 years leading Guildford Cathedral voluntary choir and is now a visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, University of Surrey.

Non-Executive Director of West Surrey Health Authority. Married with 3 children, 2 of whom are former students of Strode’s College; also has links with the College through “town twinning” activities.

Since qualification has worked in a number of secondary schools becoming Head of Sixth Form in Henbury High School and in 2005 Head Teacher of Magna Carta School in Staines, a major feeder school for Strode’s College. A member of the North West Surrey Head’s Association, represents North West Surrey on the Surrey Head’s Council, a member of the Runnymede 14-19 Consortium, North Runnymede Confederation and Surrey Performance Web-Site Working Group.
