On Wednesday 16th January, Myles Bigland, the Regional Liaison Officer of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, visited the College.
He completed a number of presentations to students about 'CILEx' and explained how students could take a non-university route to become a Legal Executive or Solicitor. The talk provided valuable careers information for Laws students and an insight into the paths ‘CILEx’ offer.
Dr. Peter Jepson, Head of Social Sciences said "The CILEX talk was extremely valuable to students because it highlighted apprenticeship and career opportunities for their future. It helps encourage students to become either a solicitor, barrister, or a legal executive."
