Strode’s Mock Election

Strode’s Mock Election

As the run up to the National elections Strode’s College held their own mock election.

The primary goal of the activity is to stimulate interest amongst all students in elections and how the country is run, to get students more engaged with national and local issues. This event gave students an opportunity to get involved in political discussion, for those under the age of 18 the mock election was also a chance for them to cast a vote.

The results were counted the next day and the outcome was that Labour was a clear winner with the Conservatives second and Lib Dem in 3rd place.
