Acting in the Community

Acting in the Community
Recently our 2nd year BTEC Acting Diploma students ran an acting masterclass in the local community.
The acting students ran a 1-hour workshop for SEN children at the Manor Mead School in Shepperton as part of their Arts in the Community unit.
The students played some lively games and helped the students decorate masks to show off to friends and family back home.
The Manor Mead students loved the opportunity, spending time with new friendly faces and clearly didn't want the day to end!   The Manor Mead staff were full of praise for the diploma students and loved the opportunity to draw links with the wider community.
The experience was energetic and creative and inspired our Acting students, and we look forward to hosting more workshops in the future.
