year, our media department approached the creative education organisation, The
Ideas Foundation. They work with blue
chip companies such as Max Factor, Fosters and Skittles to set briefs for
schools and colleges allowing students to develop and nurture their creativity
by producing marketing campaigns for well-known companies.
This year our
second year students work on a Lloyds Bank brief. The brief was simple but
challenging: Create a marketing campaign that encourages young people to save
After working on
the brief for several weeks the students pitched their ideas to a panel of
industry experts, including staff from Lloyds Bank, the Ideas Foundation and
London based advertising agency, adam&eve.
Having watched all of the pitches the panel decided that Benedict
Lovejoy, Lewis Hudson and Shannon O’Brien’s campaign and pitch was the winning
effort! They now head to London in June to pitch their idea to the senior team
