Adult students who studied for GCSEs at Strode’s College achieved a 100% pass rate this summer. The students ranged in age from 19 to ?? and were attending part time GCSE classes at the College in the evening, or at the Community Learning Centre in the Literary Institute in the daytime. GCSE have become an increasing popular part of the College’s Community Learning Programme and provide people with the opportunity to gain qualifications that are now required by many employers. For some students they were required to enable them to progress to further study in areas such as teacher training. If you are interested in finding out more about the College’s part time GCSE programme please contact Kate Shore, Head of Community Learning on 01784 471116.
