Art exhibition opportunity
A level Fine Art and BTEC Art & Design first year students took a trip to see the Georgia O’Keefe exhibition at Tate Modern, London.
Georgia O’Keeffe is best known for her paintings of magnified flowers, animal skulls, and New Mexico desert landscapes. This exhibition brings together some of her most important works
Throughout the day students explored the exhibition and took up the opportunity to draw artwork that they found inspiring while gaining contextual information about her work.
Students were then able to explore the other artworks displayed across the Tate and see the immersive Phillipe Parenno installation in the Turbine Hall
