Students enjoy developing their public speaking skills as part of their Respect Project

Twenty-five Level 2 students and their tutors took part in a public speaking work shop delivered by the charity Speakers Trust.

The students were enthusiastic about the workshop and some spoke in public for the first time which was quite an achievement! Student comments included; It was really worth it, really good, it was really helpful, showed the best ways to talk publicly, I learnt good body positions!

The workshop is part of a Respect Project funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Active Citizens FE. This two-year project, is being run this year through tutorials with the support of the Level 2 tutors.
