Orange Tree Theatre Project

Orange Tree Theatre Project

This year, 2nd year Strode’s actors are collaborating with the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond to create and devise responses to ‘Pomona’ by Alistair MacDowell.

Pomona the play’s title refers to a mythic concrete island in Manchester.  Ollie’s twin sister is missing.  Searching Manchester in desperation, she finds all roads lead to Pomona - an abandoned concrete island at the heart of the city.

This exciting project is to be delivered over the Autumn and Spring Term where students will spend 3 half days at The Orange tree Theatre as part of the process.

This will culminate in a performance at the Orange Tree Theatre on Tuesday 15th March at 3pm (details of tickets to follow shortly).
