Strode’s College is backing a national campaign launched by the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SCFA) which is calling for the introduction of a VAT refund scheme.
Unlike schools and academies, Sixth Form Colleges are unable to reclaim VAT on expenditure which, for Strode’s, reduces the amount available for teaching and learning.
The Sixth Form Colleges’ Association has launched a national petition about this issue. Full details of the campaign are available on the webpage dropthelearningtax.org.
If you agree that this is an unacceptable inequality in education funding, please support this national campaign by signing the e-petition by clicking here.
