On Saturday the 13 September a select group of 2nd Year Drama and Theatre Studies or BTEC Acting students were invited to help throw open the doors of the brand new National Theatre Clore Learning Centre. They were invited along with other young people from across the country to take part in a day of performing, workshops and creative thoughts.
They enjoyed snapshots of performances by Contact Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East, 20 Stories High, ICT, NT Young Studio, Liverpool Everyman and Belgrade Youth Theatre.
We were proud to offer our voice to the project and Strode's students performed, watched, listened and spoke out with maturity and clarity. They represented the college and its ethos admirably.
It was an amazing and exciting day, and an honour to be invited to take part.
