Brotherly love

Luke and James De Pellegrin have been inseparable since they were born. As identical twins they attended the same secondary school, The Magna Carta School in Staines, before staying together to study the same A levels and BTEC courses here at Strode’s College.

In August this year, Luke and James were therefore among the thousands of teenagers opening their much anticipated A Level results, but possibly the only ones doing it in duplicate.
Amazingly the two 18 year olds achieved A* in A Level Accounting and D*D* in Double BTEC Business, enabling them both to secure their first place choice at the University of Surrey where they will study Accountancy and Finance.

We have always had similar interests and similar strengths,” said James. “We have taken the same subjects since GCSE”

“We revised together and we helped each other a lot,” said Luke. “It was great having that support there”.

The boys have both decided to take a year out and will spend the next year working hard to gain as much work experience as possible and continuing to raise money for charity. Both Luke and James are in training for the next London to Brighton Bike ride.

Who knows what the future holds for these very clever brothers, but both of them are determined to fulfill their ambitions and to continue to support one another through the next phase of their education.

We wish both boys every success in their very promising future.
