First year BTEC Television and Film Production students met with executives from BBH Media on Friday 4th July to present their pitches for a new campaign promoting Barclays’s Five Million Young Futures scheme.
Students had spent the previous four weeks developing a cross-media campaign which involved researching target audience, brand identity and other successful adverts; developing ideas; and creating a short video with accompanying examples of other media products.
The judges were incredibly impressed by the level of creativity, and deciding on a winning team was difficult.
However, in the end, Oliver Addams and Alex Summerton were chosen to represent the college at the “I Am Creative” Barclays Media Brief national finals at BBH headquarters in London, next week.
