Performing Arts students took to the stage
Break a leg as they say… as a small group of BTEC Performing Arts students took to the stage.

As part of their current modules, “Performance Workshop Part 1” and “Devising a Children’s Theatre”, eight performing arts students visited a local primary school in Brentford to entertain the schoolchildren with their adaption of the classic tale of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” which they had transformed into a modern day pantomime.

The students demonstrated their creativity and vision by including in the script their own jokes and changing some of the key roles to suit the pantomime theme such as making the tailors cheeky elves and adding in traditional characters such as the an old maid.

Overall the students were amazing and managed to bring the house down with a sea of laughter.
