On October the 1st a group of Strode's AS Business students visited the Coca Cola factory in Sidcup. The main aim of the visit was for the students to find out how Coco Cola markets their products and brands, to understand how a Blue Chip organisation operates and to see the inside of a working factory where Coca Cola produce and manufacture their products.
On arrival the students headed straight to the Coca-Cola Educational Centre where they were given a presentation about Coco-Cola, including information about the many different drinks they produce, their promotions and adverts, old and new, and how they are working to help the environment.
When touring the factory the students got the feel of the scale of the factory and witnessed how the products are produced, packed and checked before going out to the customers and consumers. Honey Wheeler commented on how surprised she was on how automated the factory was with so few people.
On leaving the visit the students were given a free sample of the products they had seen being made.
