Our AS Business Studies students took the opportunity to visit the British Airways headquarters at Harmondsworth, London where they learnt how BA uses social media to engage with its customers.

The day started with the students embarking on a tour of the headquarters and then getting the opportunity to act as cabin crew.

In the afternoon students designed and created a Facebook campaign that would promote BA to young people. The students were given the opportunity to present these ideas to BA who then awarded prizes for the best concepts.

The visit was a great success as the students thoroughly enjoyed this unique learning experience and also gaining an insight into a possible career.
