Second year Classical Civilisation students attended a “Greek Tragedy” lecture day in Holborn recently. The day began with a study of how a Greek Tragedy is structured. This was followed by a number of plays from their curriculum including Oedipus Rex, Antigone by Sophocles and Medea and Hippolytus by Euripides.

It was a wonderful day out and provided the students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the Greek Tragedy.
