A clean sweep for Strode’s last week, as we had a victorious afternoon of sport.

First Eleven Football Team

Strode’s  5 – 4  Woking
A closely fought encounter saw Strode’s gain their first home win of the season and to come out on top.  These fantastic goals were taken from Edmond Umoh, Rob Warrington and Stephen Houghton.  These five goals were enough to seal the victory.

Second Eleven Football Team

Strode’s  5 – 2 Woking
A convincing win for Strode’s 2nd Team this week as they comfortably beat the visitors from Woking. Strode’s, played the better football for most of the game whilst keeping the pressure up on Woking throughout. The goal scorers were Cameron mason (2) Connor Young (2) and Reece Hope.   A special mention goes to Harry Nuti, for playing extremely well throughout the game and was awarded Man of the Match.

Netball

Strode’s 30 – 13 Woking
In their first competitive game of the season Strode’s girls dominated the visitors from Woking and were ahead 11-1 by the end of the first quarter.   The second quarter stayed very much like the first, with Strode’s dominating the play and applying early pressure. We saw top performances from Gemma Chester and Abbie Curran who with the rest of the girls helped Strode’s seal another victory.

It was an outstanding effort from all the teams - go Strode’s!
