Community Collaboration Festival Wednesday, June 30, 2010 (296 reads)
Strode's College is proud to host its first Community Collaboration Festival from 6pm on the 14th and 15th of July. The event is open to all members of the local community, residents, businesses and local industry and will include drama, dance and music presentations by Strode's students as well as those from local schools. Local industries will have displays and the event will celebrate the work Strode's does with the community and its links with universities and how this benefits our students.

Strode’s Student becomes Youngest Councillor Monday, June 21, 2010 (445 reads)
Jason Ellar may appear to be your average 18-year-old - a busy Strode’s A-level student who is still making up his mind what to do with his life. But following the local elections he will now be juggling his social life and homework with council meetings and committee reports, as he has become the youngest person to be elected on to a London Council.

STRODE’S COLLEGE STUDENTS VISIT BRUSSELS Monday, June 21, 2010 (372 reads)
The winners of an EU competition, held at Strode’s College, Egham, were given a unique opportunity to peer into some of the mechanics of the European Commission. Two students were taken to Brussels last week to meet senior members of the Committee of the Regions, the body representing local politicians at a European level. Alan Donelan (18) of Old Windsor and Jack Mellor (17) from Wraysbury completed a test and wrote an essay on combating poverty in the EU.

Strode’s College in Egham and its highly successful Department of Laws have been honoured by being chosen to conduct a Moot (a debate on an imaginary case) in the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.
